(1), 2-chloropyridine oxidation: add 2-chloropyridine and catalyst to the container, drop hydrogen peroxide;
(2) Filter the solution obtained in step (1), drain the filter cake, wash the filter cake, and drain the filter cake again. At this time, the filter cake is the catalyst used in step (1), and the filtrate is 2-chloropyridine nitrogen oxide solution;
(3) Preparation of pyridine thione copper
Application area
Copper pyrithione (CPT) is a broad-spectrum, low toxicity, and environmentally friendly antibacterial and antifungal agent for fungi and bacteria, widely used in civil coatings, adhesives, and carpets; It can also be used as a ship anti-fouling paint to prevent crustaceans, seaweed, and aquatic organisms from adhering to the ship's shell panels. Due to the low toxicity and stability of CPT, it can be added to the coating to make the coating show gel stability and extend the storage time of the coating. Copper pyrithione is obtained by the reaction of slightly soluble alkaline copper salt and pyrithione alkali metal salt, and the resulting product has a small crystal size with an average particle size of no more than 5 μ m。 In addition, as the residual alkaline copper salt of impurities in pyrithione copper products, it is the reason for gel of the coating during storage when it is mixed with the antifouling coating on the bottom of the ship.
CPT and its similar products have great potential and broad potential for application in the field of pesticides due to their low toxicity and excellent broad-spectrum performance.
